block merging...

hi guys

i am trying to merge a block inside of a containing div without getting a newline character added after each block is merged but i cannot find a way to suppress the addition of the newline - am i missing something?

It seems that the new line is in the block definition, so it is repeated.
Can you give a snippet of your block ?
