Merge Problem with Word 2007

For some reason unknown to me, I can generate documents using Microsoft Word 2013 for Windows and Microsoft 2011 for OSX.  However, any attempt to generate the same documents with Microsoft 2007 on Windows does not work.  The output just shows all the placeholders wtihout replacing them with any of the data.  All the documents are generated with data from a SQL database through php.  I've tried modifying the php file and the template(s) to address this issue.  Any help or insight on this problem would be appreciated.  I'm using tbsclass version 3.9 and opentbs version 1.9.3.

Do you mean that your template is made with Ms Word 2013 ?

I think I created the templates in Office for Mac 2011.  I don't know whether I am saying it right (and apologize in advance for any confusion), but I used openTBS to generate several documents (one document at a time) and download them onto several different computers.  Some of those computers I've used to open the documents have MS Word 2013, some of them have Word 2011 for OSX, and some of them open the documents with MS Word 97 with a compatibility pack.  All of the computers with these versions of MS Office/Word open the documents fine and merge the appropriate data without any issue (for the most part).  However, the computer with MS Word 2007 does not merge any of the placeholders with the data from the database. 

The same DOCX document not been see the same way on different computers, that's the first time we have this problem.

None of the documents I regularly generate on the other computers will generate correctly on the computer with MS Word 2007.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled MS Office on the computer to determine whether it was an installation issue.  No luck.  If I'm lucky, it will merge one placeholder then break.  How do you want me to send you the document?

The result DOCX document is "generated" by a web server with PHP. Ms Office is not used at all at this point.
The result DOCX document is the same for any computer that download it.

Hmmmm.  The same web server is generating all of these documents and all the other computers open the files without any issue.  I sent you one of the templates that opens fine on all the computers except the one with MS Word 2007.
