forcing a page break in a block merge
I have a form that has a table into which I merge many rows of data. Is there a way I can force a break in the table and the start of a new page ?
When I create the template I do not know where I will want the page breaks, just at run time.
Merci,
bill

Re: forcing a page break in a block merge
hi Bill,
In OpenOffice/LibreOffice, page-breaks are styles applied to paragraphs. Tables also have a property for automatically force a page-break in order to avoid a row to be split.
But as I know, you cannot force a page-break before a chosen row in a table.
But you can try by having several tables instead of one split by pages. And then you can add a page-break before each small table.
