adding button

how to execute <? $data="<input type='button' value='login'"; ?>
in HTML i called [onshow.data] but it's not work..
i use ver 3.5.0
anyone help ??? thanks

[onshow.data;htmlconv=no]

Can You check if in the variable $data You are passing also the closing arrow for the html button ? (seems missing..)
Maybe You can also check in the source view of the resulting page.
