Never before did you do so many bugfixes after the release, have we seen the ensd of it? Can I finally safely use it?

Re: Stable release
Hi RwD,
Difficult to say. But I have good hopes that 1.97.10 is really stable.
The last bug foud was very minor.
By the way, I very thank Pirjo, MagicTrickPony, PowerPop, Achille, Philty, Antony, Rwd for their fast feed back on TBS 1.97.x.
Thanks to them, fixes came quickly.
I'm a bit confused because that's the first time TBS has so much bugs with a new release. Nevertheless this realease was tested by 3 users.
I will wait 1 week with no bugs before to send the tiny-lettre and annouce version 1.97.10 (or higher) as stable.

Re: Stable release
Thanks, but I only found the obvious things though, the things that popped right in my face :P
I do not believe that one problem was solved by the way, the one where my menuitems where all selected as the current one.
I'll check that at home, previous versions of tbs worked with the template and db code as that, so 1.97.10 should too, right?
Keep ya posted...

Re: Stable release
Hmm, I do not trust 1.97 at all anymore...

I do. I really think it is stable now, even if few bugs still come out.
Some of the bugs are not related to new features. Lot of the bugs are minor. I think the bad time was before 1.97.8. Global number of bugs for TBS is low. Bugs are fixed easily (the class is not big) and quickely, that's why they look like numerous in 1.97.

Re: Stable release
For us using TBS, I think it's better to come out with a correction quickly, as Skrol29 has done. This leads to many subversions, but that's not a big problem. It would be worse to wait for a big bunch of errors before doing or publishing the corrections, although the version numbering would look nicer this way.
Keep on your excellent work!
