New TBS site: Planeta LinuxI'd like to announce that the first independent Argentinian Linux site Planeta Linux Argentina (www.planetalinux.com.ar) has successfully moved it's PHP code to operate with TBS 1.81, a big improvement from the previous FastTemplate class.
Thus, at the relaunching of the site, we where able to provide a new and modern webdesign at a fraction of the time it'd have taken us to deploy it using another templating class. Your comments are very appreciated. PS: Is the "TBS-Powered" site listing growing longer? Or am I the only one? :D |

Re: New TBS site: Planeta LinuxHi,
Your planetalinux.com.ar has a very pro look. Nice design. The main page is a bit long to open : arnoud 1 sec, this is not too much but I think it can be faster . May be you should place indexs where needed on your tables, or use the TBS cache system. The picture on the left of the comercial animated gif can't display. I asked for Powered By TBS URLs since few months, so the list is not big for now. I think you can have it somewhere in this forum. Does your web site have something to do with http://linux.multishops.com.ar ? http://linux.multishops.com.ar |

Re: New TBS site: Planeta LinuxThank you for your advise. I'm implementing caching features to my TBS sites right now.
As for your question, yes, http://linux.multishops.com.ar/ has lots to do with http://www.planetalinux.com.ar/, but the proper explanation will deserve another forum post. More TBS-powered sites from Argentina coming soon! |
