Calc function

Hi! Is it possible to edit the "function" of a Calc template using TbsOOo? Has anyone attempted such a feat?

Hi,

It's not possible to make function in OpenOffice calc because all field where you put 'tbs' tags are taken as text fields.

If you want some calculation, you have to prepare them with PHP, then merge in the OOo

It's the same problem with to format datas like number or date.

In next release, it will be possible to format your data (not function) as native OpenOffice format, then it will possible make function in your spreadsheet to compute

Alternatively, we can edit an existing function manually if we can parse the content.xml. Is there a way or function that provide access to the content.xml (to parse) before merging?

You can edit the XML file, but you have to know it is very hard to maintain the file by hands...
